transactions in 2006. The PULSE network used by Discover
has more than 4,400 bank affiliations and over 260,000

|
| Our Review:
Discover is a great company. They offer business funding
in the form of credit cards, and even offer a business
check for purchases that require a payment beyond credit
cards. Business accounts with Discover are great to
have, because they have so many features and the
customer service is top notch. |
|
| User Review:
Discover made financing my business needs easy. I was
happy enough that I had a business credit card, but when
I needed it, they were even able to use my credit line
to get me a business check so that I could pay a
repairman that didn’t take credit cards. I love their
company, and I can’t believe I waited this long to find
them. |

Bank of Internet offers many great products for business
customers. They are one of our favorite lenders for a
variety of reasons, but mainly just because they have so
many great products and services for all types of
customers. The website is always easy to use, and the
customer service is excellent, as well. |
|
| User Review: I
really like the services of Bank of Internet. I was a
little wary of working with a company that I couldn’t
actually go to when I needed something, but it turns out
that the service I get is great, and the products are
top-rate, too. |

CitiBusiness was my first choice when I needed a

the icing on the cake. |

United Business Credit boosted my credit big time so
that I was able to get the loan that I needed. I

Business Check Accounts and Personal Accounts Don’t Mix: |
|
If you own a
business, you should have a business check account.
Otherwise, you’ll never be able to keep your finances
straight. Many business owners start out using their
personal accounts to finance their business and their
purchases. However, this is dangerous, and can make
things very complicated at tax time. If you take the
time, instead, to set up a separate account for your
business, it will be easy to see how you can save a lot
of money and hassle by keeping your finances separate.
Another reason that you should never mix business and
personal accounts is because tying your business to your
personal finances can cause you a lot of problems if
your business goes south. If your business doesn’t work
out for any reason, your personal finances can be
subject to the same problems and even face bankruptcy
because they were tied to your business accounts. When
you have a life and a family to think about, you need to
make sure that they are protected. The best way to do
this is to make sure that your business finances and
personal finances are kept separate, so that one doesn’t
affect the other. It can go both ways, too. You could
very easily find your business in trouble if your
personal finances take a dive, and you wouldn’t want
that, either. The easiest way to avoid this is to keep
the two expenses separate. Any money that you spend on
your business needs to come out of a business check
account, and any money that you spend on your personal
life needs to come from a personal account. It is much
safer this way, and when it comes time to explain your
business deductions, you’ll be able to do so with faith
that you can prove that you spent the money on business
expenses and not personal items. It might seem easier to
use your personal checking account to finance your
business when you first start out, but even if you
aren’t sure whether your business will last, it deserves
its own account from the start. The number of
complications that you could run into by not keeping
these matters separate is definitely not worth it,
especially when it only takes a few minutes of your time
to set up a business check account in the first place.
